      AT PUBLIC VENDUE,
      On Saturday the 16th day of April next, on the premises,
      A LOT OF LAND,
      situate in the township of Amwell, within a short distance of
      Flemington, adjoining lands of William H. Case and others,
      containing 26 acres of land, with a dwelling house & barn,
      and a milk house, and a never-failing spring of water near the
      door, with fruit of different kinds - it being the same of which
      Hontice Case , late of the township of Amwell died seized.
      Sale to commence at ten o'clock on said Day, when
      conditions of sale will be made known, and attendance given

      The sale of the Real Estate late of Hontice Case , deceased,
      in the township of Amwell, stands adjourned to take place
      on Saturday the 23d of April inst. between the hours of 12
      and 5 o'clock in the afternoon, on the premises.

    Sale of land of Hontice Case's widow, Probate Document #1868½ 
    • To the Honourable the Judge of the Orphans Court of the County of Hunterdon

      The Report of George Trimmer, Holcombe Dilts and Joseph Opdyke, commissioners appointed to make division and sale of that part of the real estate of Hontice Case decd which was assigned and set off to Christian Case, as her dower out of the real estate of the said deceased, at the present term make report.

      That in pursuance of an order of the Orphans Court of the County of Hunterdon they gave notice for at least two months in five or more puiblic places in said county; and also in the Hunterdon Gazette, one of the newspapers printed in the said (???) & circulating in the neighbourhood of said real estate for the same length of time, once in each week successively next preceding the time appointed for selling the same, that they would expose to public sale on the premises in the township of Amwell, on Saturday the 16th day of April last-past - between the hours of 12 & 5 O'Clock P.M. of that day all that part of the real estate whereof Hontice Case died siezed in the county of Hunterdon, which was assigned and set off to Christian Case as her dower out of said real estate, Containing twenty six and a quarter acres more or less. And the said Commissioners do further report that in pursuance of the said advertisments and at the time and place therein named, they did expose to sale at public vendue to the highest bidder the said real estate; and that no person bid what the commissioners considered the full value of the said real estate, the same was then and there adjourned to Saturday the 23 of the same instant.at which time and place the said real estate was again exposed to sale as aforesaid and one Samuel H. Case then and there bid for the same the sum of eleven dollars and sixty one cents and no person bidding more, the same was then and there (???) off to him and we agreed to the purchase, which purchase money is per acre of which is duly submitted to theCourt for allowance and confirmation.
