I've been told that Alice was 16 in this picture, which would make it about 1883. Jonathan was my great-great-great grandfather. According to his Civil War record, he was 6'1" and had blue eyes, dark hair and a fair complexion. Thanks to Anne and Jeff Reams for sharing this picture with me. Anne is a descendent of Jonathan through Alice, the daughter in this picture
